Youth Lacrosse Coaches Needed

Fit Kids America of South East Texas – Magnolia, TX

$20 – $30 an hour – Part-time

Employment Begins on September 25

Fit Kids America is an after school enrichment program specifying in sports. We are currently looking for Flag Lacrosse coaches with a passion and knowledge of the sport. Students are all between the ages of 5-11 years old, and classes are taught at an introductory level. All former players, coaches, personal trainers, etc. are encouraged to apply.

Classes are held at local elementary schools right at school dismissal.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS!!!

Possible to work 1-5 hours a week, depending on your schedule (typically 1 hour per day)

Classes are one hour long (plus 15 minute before/after class)

Start times are at 4 pm

Each session 8-10 weeks long. MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT!

Coaches must possess good knowledge of the game

Able to teach and interact with kids between the ages of 5-10 the fundamentals of cheer

Good communication skills between the program director, school and parents A MUST

Reliable transportation A MUST

Experience coaching and/or working with kids a plus

Must be highly responsible, punctual and enthusiastic!

Choose the schedule that works for you, work one day or work all five. ALL hired coaches will be background checked and must have no criminal record. CPR certification will also be required. Our mission is MAKING FITNESS FUN and to positively impact children’s lives and get them active at a young age so they are more likely to carry it into adulthood.
