The American College of Radiology, a professional association for radiologists, has an opening for a Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to work in our Ultrasound Accreditation Program. This is a non-clinical setting.
The Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer’s duties include, but are not limited to: – reviewing facility accreditation applications, writing reports for the accreditation process, – responding to facility inquiries via phone, fax, and email, – researching and providing solutions to problems and acting as a technical resource for questions from facilities or members.
Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited sonography program. Must be certified and currently registered in sonography by RDMS or ARRT (RVT or VS preferred). BS degree preferred. Several years clinical experience as a sonographer, with current experience relative to sonography. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required, as are strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to be flexible and work with multiple priorities in a high volume area is also required.
