The Technical Support Associate will be responsible for planning, documenting, implementing, and processing daily sales supports and technical service tasks (research/inspect aircraft articles). This individual will report directly to the Technical Supporting manager assigned.

Duties:

  • Read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft manuals, primarily the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)
  • Successfully locating aircraft article information and fulfilling all of Unical sales’ requirements
  • Contacting sources and obtaining price, condition, and availability for each requirements
  • Data entry and updates information into Quantum system
  • Communicating effectively and maintaining a professional relationship with internally and externally
  • Estimate turnaround times, and relative costs to provide data for management/operational decisions
  • Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) or other related field from an accredited college required
  • Master’s degree in engineering a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Previous sales experience or MRO experience is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy
  • Ability to demonstrate logical reasoning, decision making, and attention to detail required
  • Proven problem solving skills within a diverse workforce and team environment
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Must be able to work comfortably outdoors, in high/low temperatures, and high noise-level environments
  • Willingness to perform “hands-on” work in a dynamic work environment
  • Review and interpret blueprints and approved tech data (ex. CMM, SRM, SOPM, SPM) to plan, evaluate, and generate instructions and other process documentation to meet specifications are preferred
