We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive professional to join the RSM Talent Management team, part of the national human resources function, in our downtown Minneapolis office.

Job Responsibilities:

To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will help identify ways to enhance internal processes and resources aimed at developing RSM talent and promoting a positive talent experience. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and project management skills to deliver outstanding results.

Working directly with members of the Talent Management team, collaborating with the national human resources team and supporting our field HR professionals, this entry-level role is designed to execute components our firm’s Talent Development culture. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with team members in the development, implementation and ongoing support of talent development initiatives with a primary focus on performance management for partners, principals and employees, providing resources and tools to field teams and administering national programs. (60%)
  • Contributing to creating and sustaining RSM’s career development framework (competency model) and supporting greater education and adoption (15%)
  • Participate in the execution and analysis of RSM’s employee engagement survey. (10%)
  • Develop and maintain content on our employee and HR intranet (SharePoint) sites associated with the HR programs (10%)
  • Other duties as assigned (5%)

Desired Experience and Competencies:

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources Generalist or Talent Management experience preferred, with exposure to performance management, career development and HR technology platforms

  • Consider a variety of inputs and bring forth clear recommendations to the team
  • Leverage HR experience and/or education to guide field HR teams in the execution of their work
  • Communication:
  • Ensure common understanding through strong listening, verbal and written skills
  • Actively share knowledge and best practices across and within teams, geographies and functions
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Passion for helping others leverage available internal and external career development resources to achieve career goals
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Comfortable with ambiguity while still being able to move forward with confidence
