As a Planner in Supply Chain, you will work with Supply and Material Planning peers as well as R&D, QA, Innovation, and Finance to plan and execute seamlessly. Develop and maintain supply outlook by reviewing inventory availability, requirements, highlighting shortages and developing a resolution action plan.
Drive total cost of ownership and ensuring alignment with corporate and local goals and objectives.
Manage KPI targets, attainment, fill rate and inform demand planning KPIs like accuracy.
Support discontinuation process including identification, monitoring and minimizing write off costs.
Supports cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives.
Manage new produce innovation by working with team members to acquire: part numbers, production scheduling requirements, Supplier and Co-Manufacturer information.
Attend weekly business unit and innovation project meetings to communicate key Supply Chain milestones and receive updates. Clearly communicate deadlines and expectations back to the Supply Chain team.
Track, prioritize and maintain schedules, check in with the team to ensure all tasks are being done on time.
Experience / Qualities:
4 year college degree (Business, operations, supply chain, engineering or related field preferred).
3-5 years of experience in project management, production and/or inventory planning.
Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning.
Detail oriented with strong problem solving, analytical and project management skills.
Ability to manage day to day tactical activities and assist the team with ad hoc planning metrics and reports.
Experience using SAP is a plus.
Strong Excel knowledge, ability to mentor others in Excel.
Strong attention to detail and focus on project and task completion is critical.
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
