Supervisor – Non-Invasive Vascular Lab

Responsible for direction and control of the work standards in all of the Non-Invasive imaging locations. Also responsible for personnel in all of the NIVL imaging locations and for performing NIVL procedures in addition to supervisory tasks for the successful operations and oversight of the imaging areas. The department opens at 7:30 and is closed by the on call technologist when all patients are completed each day. The supervisor rotates shifts and also takes call with the staff.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with registry certifications in cardiovascular imaging. Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program preferred. Would consider Radiologic Technology Program graduate with cardiovascular experience. Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RVT, RCS, RDCS, and/or ARRT certification. Three to five years experience in cardiovascular sonography (echocardiography and vascular sonography) with previous supervisory experience is a plus. Ability to operate sonography equipment and produce quality images. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, visitors and employees within the organization to provide excellent customer service.
