Who we’re looking for
The TFSB Bank Controllership department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Accounting Analyst.
Reporting to the National Manager, Controller, the Sr. Accounting Analyst, TFSB primary responsibility is to perform monthly close functions, support financial reporting for TFSB, and take part in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects.
This role is an integral part of the TFSB Accounting and TMCC Accounting teams in supporting TFSB accounting and controllership areas.
What you’ll be doing
Financial Reporting – Prepares quarterly iFEM schedules and reports to TFSC which will involve coordinating with intercompany partners (TFSC, TMCC iFEM team to ensure that iFEM schedules are completed & submitted accurately and timely
Prepares annual audited financial statements which will include, balance sheet, incomes sheet, statement of shareholders equity, statement of cash flows and footnote disclosure
Coordinates with auditors (internal and external) to ensure successful completion of the audits
Prepares internal and external audit requests
SOX – work with various TFSB departs to ensure that SOX requests are provided to IA timely, coordinate efforts to resolve any issue arise from the audit and Regularly review and update SOX process documents and work with SOX team to ensure appropriate internal controls are inherent in financial reporting and are designed effectively
Accounting and period end close – prepare journal entries, SME for loan accounting and take full ownership of tasks from start to finish
Other projects and duties as assigned. Ad-hoc reporting, research, and a variety of loan analysis reports
What you bring
Four-year degree in Accounting with a CPA required and relevant work experience required
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an unmatched ability to clearly define problems, solutions, and action plans
Ability to work well with others and collaborate cross functionally
Detail oriented and works with a sense of urgency
Minimal travel expected to visit TFSB in Henderson, NV
