Pasadena Ronald McDonald House
The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House provides a community supported “home away from home” for families coming into Pasadena to seek advanced medical treatment for their critically or terminally ill children. Premature births, cancer and other critical illnesses can put unimaginable stress on a family and, in addition, many families must travel great distances looking for treatments and answers not found near their home – we’re here to help. Since opening in 2004, we have served more than 18,000 children and families. The Pasadena House is one of the six Ronald McDonald Houses of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California.
The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House is looking for talented and passionate individuals to serve as College Student Interns for Spring and Summer 2017. Students will gain hands-on experience in a non-profit setting and learn about working for a mission-driven organization. This is an unpaid position , but college credit can be available through your college or university. Students’ schedules and projects will be customized to meet the individual educational and career objectives of the candidates but fall primarily into three areas:
Student Volunteers should be able to work in the office 10-20 hours per week; however hours are flexible.
This is an unpaid and volunteer position. College credit may be available through your college or university.
