A technical thought leader and partner with the sales team, this role owns all technical activities required throughout the sales cycle. Solutions Consultants create highly engaging demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs), along with product presentations and ROI models to drive sales into customer accounts. This position requires hands-on work with the product and the ability to build sophisticated software demonstrations, as well as the ability to deliver compelling presentations to clients and prospects.

In this role, you will:
Manage multiple customer accounts that may span multiple sales executives within a particular industry
Plan sales campaigns in conjunction with sales executives and lead efforts to ensure the delivery of all technical resources
Propose solutions to meet clients’ needs and serve as the product expert to prospective clients
Assist in the production of RFP’s and other proposals to clients
Deliver POCs and demonstrations with sufficient functionality to ensure that client success criteria are delivered and product differentiators are included.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketing, legal, and other groups ensuring the successful execution of the sales strategy
Provide thought leadership within the supported industry
Create and deliver world class technical demonstrations
Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of staff to meet the demands of the department
Build customer relationships with target accounts

The ideal candidate is a problem solver with web-based application development experience and a solid understanding of business process management. We want someone who is passionate about technology and loves using software to express their ideas.
They have experience presenting technical concepts in front of others and they enjoy solving business problems with technology. While this role will be handling technical sales activities and will be part of the sales organization, the candidate does not need to have experience in pre-sales provided they meet the other qualifications.

Qualifications will include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
3-5 years of experience in application development, pre-sales, and/or implementations; client-facing experience is preferred.
Excellent presentations skills and communication skills
Ability to proactively develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding and anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs
Ability to develop web-based software applications
Ability to understand complex data relationships and rules-based systems
Thorough knowledge of technology tools, languages and programs
