Position Summary and Essential Duties

Designs, develops and implements quantitative analysis of complex business situations including performance, strategies and solutions relative to sales and customer performance. Create, uses and guides staff in advanced computer modeling, database tools and/or other approaches in analysis. Leads/manages peer and cross functional/departmental analysis in sales and/or Solutions projects. Mentors less senior staff. Works on multiple complex assignments concurrently. Leads brainstorming and development of recommendations for highly complex sales/customer/corporate initiatives, recommending best practices. Presents solutions to upper management. Job Specific Information

The Sales Structure Execution team is responsible for the strategic segmentation and alignment of customers to Sales territories. Duties include analytical support of sales structure design and segment revenue strategy, as well as the implementation of these strategies. The work of this team is key in Sales’ ability to deliver on corporate strategies.

Sales Structure Execution analysts work closely with US Sales leadership and support staff, global Sales Planning teams, and Sales Solutions business partners in the design and execution of sales operational processes. Analysts should be able to perform root cause analysis and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities of the role include active participation in the planning and design of execution processes, gathering and interpreting data, making recommendations, providing support to internal customers and business partners, and timely and accurate execution of operational activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to query, extract and perform analysis on large amounts of data to facilitate conclusions and/develop procedural recommendations

Knowledge of business process design and management

Ability to perform root cause analysis and communicate results and recommendations to all levels of management

Matrix support to US Sales and global Sales Planning to execute operational activities

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple complex assignments concurrently

Intermediate to advanced SQL experience; knowledge of SAS also helpful

Strong human relations, communications, project/process management, and analytical skills. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Considered a Plus

Experience with SAS and/or statistical modeling

Strong persuasive presentation building skills

Demonstrated application of QDM practices

Robust knowledge of SQL and statistics; knowledge of SAS also helpful

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalency in business, finance, economic, computer science, engineering or related field. Minimum five (5) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, sales or marketing analysis and/or knowledge management. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Innovative analytical skills. Superior demonstrated skills in access, excel and other database/analytical tools.
