Six Sigma Black Belt job – SHARP HEALTHCARE – San Diego, CA

Summary The Six Sigma Black Belt reports to Director of Lean Six Sigma. This is an extremely important and high profile position working in the heart of Sharp HealthCare with a bright and diverse team who are passionate about improving Sharp HealthCare to be the best place to work, practice medicine and receive care. This position provides the opportunity to interact with people throughout the entire Sharp system and includes a variety of responsibilities and exciting growth opportunities. This individual must effectively work with Sharp management, staff, physicians and contract personnel.

The incumbent must be able to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately with people verbally and in writing; have the ability to achieve project and organizational results by working with people and teams, and demonstrate the ability to multitask and effectively manage time. In addition to project and process management, the role requires the ability to coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma belts including Black Belts, Green Belts and Yellow Belts as well as process improvement leaders on application of concepts and methodologies to improve processes, sustain results and replicate successes throughout the integrated healthcare system. This position requires strong leadership, project management, and team facilitation skills. Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC).

These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.
