Duties and Responsibilities
Manages and leads Customer projects through entire project lifecycle
Facilitates and leads meetings and activities to gain consensus on project objectives, deliverables, schedule, cost, and implementation considerations
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Manage project staffing and responsibilities
Communicates project plans and status, acting as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. Identifies and manages risks throughout the lifecycle of the project
Ensures all appropriate project artifacts are completed and handled in accordance with documented standards
Maintain quality control of all deliverable products, demonstrating technical excellence, objectivity, and clarity while maintaining project schedules
Meet with clients to co-manage projects, present results, and develop new scopes of work
Ensures acceptance of the project by the Customer, completion of various project records, and hand-over to/Support.Develop new business opportunities
Control project costs, including cost schedules and variance reports. Meet overall project budget and profitability targets
Manages multiple projects simultaneously
Track customer engagements
Provides ongoing feedback on process and delivery improvement
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, business or equivalent required
5+ years of experience managing large, multi-functional projects
PMI or other project management certification preferred
Experience within utility, energy efficiency, or building efficiency industry desirable
Experience within the energy efficiency or building efficiency industry is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets
Excellent analytical, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Occasional travel is required to meet with customers
