About the Job

You will supplement our Lighting team and provide design and management for a large variety of high-quality national and international projects, including commercial TI projects, skyscrapers, civic plazas, transportation facilities, hotels, restaurants, educational facilities and stadia. Our Clients are top tier, internationally recognized Architects and Interior Designers. You will also contribute to management and leadership of the Seattle Lighting Studio. Level of leadership and title dependent on level of experience.

Responsibilities include:
•Contribute to studio leadership

•Contribute to Business Development

•Management and mentorship of lighting staff

•Implementation of design concepts

•Perform lighting calculations and use results to inform project decisions

•Lighting layout

•Develop Luminaire cur sheet and schedule

•Daylight harvesting strategies

•Apply day-lighting practices and techniques

•Architectural coordination

4 year Engineering or design degree

8-15 years’ experience in Lighting Design. Project experience submitted for consideration should include projects on which you have actively participated in the project from the design phase through the final construction close-out.

Team management and client interaction experience.

Strong creative skills

Knowledge of sustainable lighting strategies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe Suite, AGI32 (or Visual) is required

Ability to render using Photoshop, 3DS Max and InDesign is preferred
