This inside sales support position requires a person that has the ability to interface with multiple levels at our customer and internally. This can include buyers, engineers, shipping/plant personnel, accounting and management. You may occasionally need
to communicate with co-workers on a global level.
Interface between ITW Management and Sales professionals and multiple Global ITW Plant Operations to establish quote criteria.Coordinate receipt of satisfactory quotes from relevant plants and obtain management approval within specified timing using the
ITW Quote Database software.
Sales responsibility which involves working directly with customer engineering and purchasing personnel to sell product which involves part searches, interaction with ITW engineering, test data requests/submissions, final price negotiation, Sales Report
write ups, etc.
Project Management responsibilities being the central point of contact for the customer. Duties include maintaining Bill of materials, assigning part numbers, obtaining quotes and working with operations and sales from all ITW North America divisions to
ensure initial set up and spot buy orders and payment, etc.
Maintain forecast database (SAPHRAN software) to enable accurate forecast planning and revenue reporting requiring accuracy and diplomacy to extract detail application information from customer. Review and sign off purchase orders for accuracy against quote
and resolve anomalies with management.
Responsibility for tool cost recovery from customer ensuring all tool purchase orders and tool expenditure are recorded correctly and re negotiated with customer accounting and purchase managementwhere necessary.
Interface between Operations and Sales for any customer requirements (customer forms, packaging data requests, MSDS, supplier surveys, etc)
Maintain database of current open project activity for the Chrysler Team and actively manage the information and reports necessary to assist in the tracking of the progress of the team towards the annual goals.
Shared General Office Administrative duties of the Troy office as needed

A college degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience in sales/customer service, engineering or manufacturing management required.
Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office software package; specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
High level customer interaction skill set
Aptitude to multi-task while maintaining utmost accuracy
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment as well as flexibility
Ability to follow sales forecast to a business plan, including business strategies based on OEM.
