From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Google Cloud Web Experience Lab (XL) is looking for a versatile Quantitative Analyst/Data Scientist. Google Cloud XL is responsible for all Google Cloud web channels, spanning from marketing to documentation. As a Quantitative Analyst for Google Cloud, you will work on analyses that impact the broad Cloud web ecosystem, focusing on challenging quantitative projects that are critical to our business.

At Google, data drives all of our decision-making. Quantitative Analysts work all across the organization to help shape Google’s business and technical strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting huge data sets. Using analytical rigor and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for Google and our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing advertising efficacy to network infrastructure optimization to studying user behavior. As an analyst, you do more than just crunch the numbers. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, Product Managers, Analysts, Marketing, and Sales Associates to adjust Google’s practices according to your findings. Identifying the problem is only half the job; your insights lead to the solution.

You will be partnering closely with your fellow team members in the Google Cloud Web Experience Lab and our internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs and plans of Google Cloud customers, developers, and partners. Your work will inform the direction and outcomes of Google Cloud in building Google Cloud’s online presence.
