Utilization of best practices in the creation, management and delivery of services in HIRED’s public sector career pathway training programs to innovate, lead, and meet or exceed employer needs and program goals. Responsible for leadership and supervision of program team under the direction of a Senior Manager or Director.

  • Serve as project manager for the design, launch, and implementation of public sector career pathways in the Twin Cities region.
  • Project manage a diverse group of employer and education partners to ensure the creation and implementation of a valuable training program.
  • Engage employer partners at multiple intersections in program development and implementation, including curriculum development, recruitment, in-class presentations, internships, and more.
  • Ensure that program activities meet the specified objectives and program goals.
  • Oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of program data; prepare and present findings as necessary.
  • Provide career navigation services to ensure steady enrollment in and completion of training program, including outreach and recruitment, intake and assessment considering the eligibility criteria for the program, case management/wrap around support services, and workplace readiness training.
  • Prioritize recruitment of training candidates from high poverty areas within Hennepin, Ramsey, and other geographic areas served.
  • May provide customer service training before entering the technical skills portion of training.
  • Coach graduates throughout the interviewing and hiring process.
  • Provide job retention services.
  • Manage and oversee the administrative and daily operations of assigned programs, ensure compliance with governing contracts.
  • Evaluate program performance and reports. Communicate critical issues and program activities to the program director and/or partners.
  • Partner with director to manage program budget
  • Assist with the design and potential expansion of the project.
  • Collaborate with Career Pathway/Sector department and other HIRED departments, programs and community partners to role model best practices, carefully manage program resources, and enhance program performance.
  • Work closely with educational partner to ensure quality of technical education.
  • Monitor sub-contract with educational partner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of methods to evaluate and improve client and employer satisfaction and outcomes.
