Project Administrator job – AECOM – Kansas City, MO

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Administrator for immediate employment for a client program. Preference is to individuals in the Kansas City or Atlanta area but we are open to a qualified and talented remotely located individual. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

Coordinate with project management, design teams and contractors

Provide support to PMs within assigned area

Maintain program procedures

Prepare project reports and presentations

Analyze and negotiate change requests and invoices

Review and recommend applications for payment

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or GED

7+ years of experience supporting small to medium retail construction projects

Demonstrable experience with ePMIS systems such as Proliance

Experience working on construction projects, preferably retail construction

Demonstrated communication and organization skills

Ability to think strategically, plan and problem solve

Capacity to work in a team setting with minimal supervision or direction

Ability to create business documents, such as reports, papers, detailed letters and emails

Attention to detail and quality

Demonstrated stability and longevity in job history

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check

Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Must participate in and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment fitness for duty questionnaire

Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in office environments; position requires frequent keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive or fine hand movements, occasional lifting of less than 25 pounds, and rare lifting of 25-50 pounds, working with arms above shoulder level, repetitive bending/stooping, standing/walking and stair climbing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business, construction management, project management areas of study is desired

Intermediate to advance knowledge of Trimble’s Proliance or similar ePMIS systems highly desirable
