Requirements:

  • At least ten (10) years of program and/or technical management experience, including having responsibility for multidisciplinary technical teams in disciplines related to aircraft modification and upgrades.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering preferred; will consider other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent in technical management is desirable.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • Strong customer relationship and customer expectation management skills are a must.
  • Self-starter-can be trusted and empowered by the corporation to act quickly and decisively to meet customer requirements and mission needs.
  • Strong program management experience with Air Force programs.
  • Strong people skills to keep the support work force motivated, professionally challenged, and stable.
  • Air Force experience with a background in aircraft maintenance or technical testing.
  • Experience in leading teams supporting the planning, conduct, execution, and reporting of results for aircraft upgrades and modifications for Air Force aircraft
  • Experience in supporting flight mission planning and execution and with providing data, analysis, and recommendations to airworthiness, system safety, and material acquisition decision authorities.
  • Experience in providing test and evaluation services at various phases throughout aviation systems’ life cycles.
  • Experience in the design, development and integration of aviation instrumentation systems on Air force platforms.
  • Proficient at creating work plans / WBSs / schedules; staffing plans; developing spend plans and budgets.
  • Effective at tracking project execution against WBSs, Schedules, and Budgets and determining and reporting variances as required by the Government COR or his representatives.
  • An adroit problem solver: quickly identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risks and reduces program variances to acceptable levels.
  • PMP certified desired.

Duties:

  • Responsible for leading a team of associated technical specialists overseeing aircraft operations, aircraft systems modifications and upgrades, aviation engineering, staff training, and program administration.
  • Manage the following services: Aircraft Operation; Material Procurement and Subcontracting; Reliability, Quality, Safety, and Product Assurance; Training; Contract Management and Administration.
  • Lead and execute assigned program within the DoD Acquisition Framework including management of cost, schedule and performance attributes for the program.
  • Responsible to develop and manage manpower planning, project budgets, work break down structures, resource controls, task assignments, risk assessment and mitigation, Earned Value Management and resource provisions.
  • Responsibilities include, inter-corporate planning of quality control, configuration management, manufacturing / production, and life cycle support/logistics elements of assigned projects.
  • Program Manager will assist upper management with development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the program requirements within the scheduled time and cost constraints.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
