The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of an integrated marketing plan for supplemental literacy curriculum (writing, spelling).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage product marketing activities for supplemental literacy curriculum including the development of product marketing plans
Develop and execute effective product materials, collateral and interactive content
Conduct marketing analysis on open territories and state adoptions for literacy curriculum.
Serve as Marketing liaison to Product Development team in developing product features, timelines, and product plans
Collaborate with product team to inform product ideation and development
Work with Professional Development on product-related initiatives
Collect customer feedback to inform product marketing strategy and surface voice of partner requirements for product evolution
Work with Product Development to help ensure all product communications, including user materials/guides are in line with product marketing strategy & messaging
Assist with Sales training on product positioning – ensure all reps can internalize and clearly communicate our product positioning and message
Provide input about messaging all throughout the customer corridor
Travel with sales reps in all territories and visit schools and classrooms using supplemental products (25% travel)
Lead the development of research efficacy studies
Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
5 years’ experience in product marketing .
