Become a member of our successful Procurement team based in Westford, MA, USA. We are currently looking for a Procurement Planner.

Partner with Wholesale/Retail Depts to determine booking deadlines for ordering schedules that encompass the full sequence of supply chain processes for each department to be successful to do their role completely to maximize sales

Create, submit, maintain and verify purchase orders with factories/agents. Determine manufacturing schedule that works within production lead-time and capacity and allow enough transit time.

Review and analyze inventory turns so that product is here at the right time. Evaluate action plan that would impact arrival time at distribution center.

Resolve any production issues that would prohibit orders from arriving at the final destination in enough time

Verify orders shipped by factory are equal to the quantities that we received at the warehouse

Review and approve factory invoices

Maintain company mainframe to ensure that data is accurate

Contribute to special projects as needed

Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices.

Degree in business administration preferred

2+ years of customer service, procurement or logistics experience required

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft excel

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Understanding of costing to support price maintenance in systems

Strong analytical skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline driven environment

Highly organized and detail oriented
