The Task Lead (TL) will be required to support this contract by executing the following task:

  • Serves as the POC for NSWG-1 in operational and day to day activities
  • Supervises the Assistant Task Lead, Instructors Role Players and classroom instruction
  • Conducts classroom instruction
  • Schedules instructors and performs course logistical planning
  • Conducts instructor refresher training and as directed, implements course updates
  • Coordinates RP support and support activities
  • Evaluates instructors, students and RP performance

As the Task Lead, you will also perform the duties of an Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC) instructor, who must be able to provide instructional support in all aspects of ASOTC Training as directed; will serve as an instructor, mentor, evaluator and counselor to senior Special Operations personnel attending the training.

The instructor will be responsible for safeguarding all USG property provided to support these duties, and safeguarding sensitive and classified materials/documents provided to support these duties. The instructor will be required to travel to various CONUS locations as directed by the customer to perform these instructional duties.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course.
  • Must be a graduate of Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) or Seal Qualification Course (SQC) or the equivalent MARSOC certification.
  • Must be physically fit to meet the requirements of these instructor duties, able to walk a minimum of five miles a day in varied terrain and environments.
  • Must be able to perform these duties in extreme weather conditions of cold and heat (snow and rain)
  • Must have a minimum of eight years of Special Operations experience with SF, SEAL or MARSOC. 10-15 years SOF experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to communicate affectively both written and verbally to support the administrative and instructional requirements for this position.
  • Must be able to provide instruction, counsel students, mentor students, evaluate and provide AARs to support these duties.
  • Must be able to revise or develop lesson plans and course materials, provide classroom presentations and support the development of other course materials.
  • Must be a graduate of a military certified Instructor Training Course or successfully complete an ITC type certification.
  • The candidate must approved by the customer prior to employment
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must to obtain/have and maintain a Secret security clearance
