The Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT) role player will provide support in all aspects of the ASOT Training as directed; will serve as a role player in a scenario based training event to senior Special Operations personnel attending the training in a variety of scenario driven environments.

The role player will be responsible for safeguarding all USG property provided to support these duties, and safeguarding sensitive and classified materials/documents provided to support these duties. The role player will be required to travel to various CONUS locations as directed by MacB and the customer to perform these assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Must have extensive background experience with downrange SOF experience with this skill set or have worked as a role player at the USAJFKSWCS ASOTC Program but it is preferred that they are a graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course.
  • Must be a graduate of Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC) or Seal Qualification Course (SQC) or the equivalent MARSOC certification.
  • Must be physically fit to meet the requirements of the role playing duties, able to walk a minimum of five miles a day in varied terrain and environments.
  • Must be able to perform these duties in extreme weather conditions of cold and heat (snow and rain)
  • Must have a minimum of five years of Special Operations experience with SF, SEAL or MARSOC. 10-12 years SOF experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to communicate affectively both written and verbally to perform the role player duties.
  • Must be able to counsel students, mentor, evaluate and provide AARs to support their duties.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must have and maintain a Secret security clearance.
