CCI Industrial Services
The North Slope Manager is responsible for the work management and direct supervision of CCI Industrial Services North Slope-based employees in their respective work sites. The position requires daily management and supervision of work crews, including logistics, and coordination of crew activities with client job supervisors and CCI staff. This person establishes goals, strategies, plans, policies and is responsible for project performance, safety, employee morale, client relations, project reporting, and maintaining the quality of equipment.
This is a full time position assigned to the North Slope of Alaska. All North Slope assigned positions are on-call 24 hours/day while on shift or assigned temporarily to another project. Flexibility regarding hours of work is required as needed to meet demands of the job. Position may be reassigned at any time to meet operational objectives.
Position may be exposed to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. The company provides arctic / cold weather gear.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the project site. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Position may be working with potentially hazardous materials and wastes.
Work involves frequent use of computer terminal and telephone. May require sitting for extended periods. Some overtime may be required. While traveling to remote locations, position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. Arctic PPE clothing is provided.
May require light physical effort such as stooping, bending, reaching and occasional lifting of lightweight objects (up to 25 pounds). Must have finger/hand dexterity to allow accurate data entry. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
