Responsible for prospecting non-Aspect customers via telephone. May staff industry shows and events to evangelize Aspect solutions. Provide initial dialogue with prospects to gain interest in Aspect solutions. Provide first level qualification and sets appointment or next step conversation for AE. Assigned a sales territory and typically works with 6-8 AE’s. Works with AE’s to develop prospect targets within territory. Responds to leads from marketing generated events. Performs prospect account research through website, press releases, and social contact searches. Profiles industry vertical to identify opportunities for Aspect solutions. Holds annual and quarterly revenue target, does not close the sale. Responsible for quarterly lead generation quota. Revisits dated prospect leads that may have gone cold to reengage AE. Knowledgeable of all Aspect products and services.
