Minimize Your Running Applications To System Tray Instead Of Taskbar

Do you want to save some precious space on your Windows Taskbar and want some Applications to minimize to System Tray(System Tray area is located near the Clock)? TrayIt! is an application that will help you in exactly this situation.

Just run it and it will let you minimize your applications to system tray. There are basically 3 ways to minimize your applications.

1. Open TrayIt! and you will see applications that are currently running, simply right-click any one of them and select Place In System Tray.

2. Open the application that you want to minimize to the system tray, press Shift and click the Minimize button.

3. Open the application that you want to minimize to the system tray, right-click on the Minimize button and select Place In System Tray.

Once you close the TrayIt! program it continues to run in the background, and the quickest way to access it is to right-click on the Minimize Button and select TrayIt! Application.

To access TrayIt! Application Options, click on Edit and select Options, this will take you to a set of preferences as shown in the screenshot below.

This is a small(just 327kb in size) and handy application that everyone must give a shot at least once. It works in Windows 95/98/Me, NT/2000/XP and Vista.
