This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of direct experience with analytic studies within DHS.
Applicants must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top Secret clearance and DHS suitability/fitness.
Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred
Strong base of skills in DHS operational analysis and component mission requirements
Knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques of analysis and methodologies related to DHS operational analysis
Knowledge of DHS Headquarters and operational components organizational structures and responsibilities
Knowledge of secure DHS data sources and how to obtain access
Ability to identify analytic needs and transform those needs into actionable analytic plans
Ability to respond to requests for information and provide briefings to senior decision-makers
5+ years of related DHS analysis experience, 3+ with a master’s degree
Experience working with DHS Joint Requirements Council and Integrated Product Teams
Experience working with operational requirements documents such as mission needs statements, capability development plans, and analysis of alternatives.
