Microsoft BIF Program Manager

Outsourced Managed Service Role – Long-Term Opportunity

Need a seasoned PM with Microsoft BIF experience to run Business Investment Fund (BIF) programs. This is a Managed Service (Outsourced Project) at Microsoft, and the work has the potential to last several years.


  • For BIF programs
  • Process a minimum of 10-15 requests per week
  • Cover all the iterations with the field to make their requests compliant and help train them in the process.
  • Edit the programs and streamline the workflow and the process for the requestors and the approvers in the GetBIF tool.
  • Provide oversight and reporting on project workflow (number of requests, number in queue, number processed, etc.).
  • Hand-off projects (post-approval) to the appropriate teams at Microsoft.

Experience with the following required :

  • 5-7 years of experience as a PM at Microsoft
  • Managing BIF requests at Microsoft (Business Investment Funds)
  • Ensuring compliance with MSFT Finance, Controls, & Compliance.
  • Tracking of pending and approved projects (either funded or to be funded by the program).
  • Providing weekly feedback to the program owner on the status of the forecast and spending against budgets
  • Regular input and feedback to the support teams and stakeholders for issues or improvements.
