The Senior Marketing Specialist will
be assigned to the Primary Care or Hospital/Specialty CBL (Customer Business
Line) within the Global Human Health organization.
The Global Human Health organization
serves all of the markets around the world with a strong focus on the top 13
that lead the financial contribution to the company. In doing so, the team
develops and leads the implementation of the global product strategies in close
collaboration with Merck Research Laboratories and the Merck Manufacturing
Division. Close collaboration and interaction with marketing and sales teams
all over the world help to understand the opportunities and challenges of an
ever changing pharmaceutical market.
Merck has a strong commitment to

digital space. A lot of attention is directed towards the development and
execution of digital materials supporting our product strategies and also to
lead the development of digital campaigns and preferred customer journeys.
Candidates will be involved in the development and execution of the digital
strategy as well as implementation and execution.
- Will make operational contributions to
assigned area including Strategic Marketing, Brand Management, New Product
Planning, and Communications Management
- Financial planning and management activities such as budget
management, forecasting, and business case development
- Knowledge of internal/external challenges to
improve product marketing offerings
- Solves complex problems in assigned area
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Promotes teamwork and open discussion of
- Interprets customer needs, assesses
requirements, and identifies solutions
This role will also be part of an Accelerated
