ECRI Institute is seeking an entry-level Medical Supply Specialist to synthesize information drawn from various ECRI Institute internal databases and external sources. The analyst will create reports that assist member hospitals and purchasing professionals in identifying opportunities for potential savings and standardization thereby supporting the member’s overall procurement process. This position is located in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of staff, including hospital executives and senior level staff at ECRI Institute.
  • Provide analyses/reports to hospital clients by benchmarking hospital data with National-level databases.
  • Educate hospital clients on the PriceGuide service.
  • Conduct market research of medical/surgical supplies and implant products.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (majoring in Supply Chain preferred) with at least one year in supply chain required, in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to think analytically and formulate reports/recommendations based on findings.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and write.
  • Excellent account and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access 2016.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
