After a conditional offer of employment is made, the Sheriff’s Office will conduct a comprehensive background investigation. The investigation includes, but is not limited to, past work history, a criminal history check, blogs and Internet sites.
Establishes and maintains patient medical records in accordance with established protocol and legal/judicial requirements at the Adult Detention Center. Performs a variety of administrative support functions.
Two years of office support or clerical experience, which must include experience with medical terminology and protected health information (PHI), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a medical office maintaining records, providing administrative support, or billing is preferred.
Collects and files a variety of medical records into an electronic records system. Reviews files for accuracy, orderliness, proper categorization, and visual quality. Takes remedial action when necessary.
