Marketing Program Manager
Civis Analytics is looking for an exceptional individual to join our marketing team to play a key role in the planning, strategy and communication of our products and services.
The Marketing Program Manager will report to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for contributing to strategic planning and owning/managing tactical campaign execution across digital and traditional marketing mix, budget and project management, and reporting. This position will work collaboratively with the marketing team, sales and other key stakeholders, plus agencies and partners. Core Responsibilities
Marketing Program Planning & Management : Working with the VP of Marketing to manage strategy, campaign planning, budget, program execution, analysis and reporting.
Market Research, Listening and Insights : Gather, analyze and summarize market information, data and trends to inform overall marketing planning and campaign specific initiatives.
Technology Solution Marketing : Work with business leaders, subject matter experts, sales team and external partners to understand complex product/service offerings and translate to Content and Digital marketing to support engagement through the buyer’s journey and across customer life-cycles.
Multi-channel Management – Digital Marketing & Traditional Mix : Work across mix of marketing automation, email/workflows, Web, blog, landing pages, social media channels, SEO, SEMP/PPC, digital advertising, digital content development, plus traditional mix PR/AR, events/trade shows, promo/collateral, literature, PPTs, etc.
Campaign Management : Give direction via campaign brief and reference information, full-cycle project management, tracking and periodic reporting/analysis. Manage multiple internal campaigns as well as channel partner marketing programs.
Project Management (PM) : Lead marketing program implementation across campaigns and general marketing activities/mix with marketing team, internal SMEs and stakeholders, partners, and agencies.
Budget Management : Update/track and report on status, resolve issues and reconcile on a regular basis the corporate marketing spend.
Event Management : Plan and manage logistics for regional briefings, webinars and trade shows.
Marketing Asset Management : Oversee documents and files, promotional items, collateral, trade show booth/displays and other marketing materials.
Analysis and Reporting Management : Within and across marketing program s(Web analytics, marketing automation/email, CRM) to support key objectives and manage marketing performance; share and interpret reports, providing improvement recommendations, through regular communications with marketing and business/sales teams. Qualifications
Proven track record and experience with a high-growth technology company or agency
Project management and organizational skills, with ability to execute multiple, complex campaigns
Strategic, creative, collaborative with an ability to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on company strategic marketing goals
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and juggle competing priorities and deadlines
Experience with marketing automation tools preferred (Marketo, Salesforce, etc.)
Strong analytical ability to assess complex situations and exceptional creativity to provide solutions
Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
Superior analytical, writing, verbal, time management and public speaking skills
3-5 years in marketing, customer marketing or product management role in the software industry or commensurate agency experience
BA/BS in a relevant field
