Our Finger Lakes gaming venue in Farmington, NY has over 1,500 video gaming machines, over 160 live thoroughbred horse racing days per year, live racing results from all the top tracks daily, and a variety of the best restaurants in the Finger Lakes with live entertainment on weekends. The racetrack is Western New York’s home for live thoroughbred racing from April through December. The Opportunity

Marketing Analyst – Full Time

Responsible for continuous analysis of player database including, but not limited to, spending, visitation habits, geographic and demographic trends, and promotional and operational effectiveness. Produce prospect lists for various iniatives using established criteria. Assist with development and implementation of all Marketing and Players Club promotional activity for gaming and racing operations.

Administers and updates files by purging information and combining data from different key database sources: Casino Marketplace, SQL, POS, Access, and Excel.

Responsible to perform continuous detailed and complex analysis of the player database to identify play trends that can be enhanced upon or reversed with focused marketing efforts.

Facilitate preparation, execution, tracking and reporting of all marketing activities through defined schedule of regular reports.

Coordinate list management and queries for direct mail recipients under guidelines set forth. Work with mail house and print shops to ensure accuracy of data provided.

Continually evaluate marketing program spend effectiveness to drive revenue in most efficient manner.

Assist in utilizing Casino Marketplace functions to ensure proper functionality.

Assist in the implementation and review of all promotional activities and marketing events.

Assist in coordination of promotional activities with other departments.

Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues.

Prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work within tight deadlines frequently.

Ability to work with a flexible schedule.

Role model the skills of guest service and interact positively through relationships with guests, coworkers, and supervisors by displaying genuine concern and respect for people’s needs.

Greet guests positively, treating each person in a professional manner.

Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics or related field from a four-year college or university preferred.

Excellent analytical and math skills. Must be able to analyze data from various angles and offer all viewpoints for review.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Internet.

Must be able to create queries in MS Access and/or MS SQL. Must be able to create reports in MS Excel using data obtained from MS Access.

Demonstrate the ability to find the solution or answers to questions without a defined road map.

Superior organization abilities required.

Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills required.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit in front of a computer

Manual dexterity sufficient for computer work

Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish required reports and computer system

Occasional bending, reaching, climbing on step stool

Additional Information:
Local and regional travel as deemed necessary
