Responsibilities:
Train and manage external Medical information vendor and respond to escalated calls as needed. Conduct sales training on Medical content for product launches, label changes, etc. Track/update publication plans and liaise with external authors on scientific and medical communications including peer-reviewed publications and abstracts. Participate in onboarding of field based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) by conducting disease state and product training. Develop scientific and medical content for use by MSLs and other internal stakeholders.

  • Respond to data inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Provide product training to internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, market access, medical) as needed.
  • Respond to escalated Medical Information inquiries as needed.
  • Maintenance of AMCP dossier.
  • Develop Standard and Custom Response Letters for use by Medical Information vendor and maintain a database of current and archived letters.
  • Track product publication plans including reviewing, editing, and authoring of scientific/medical publications as needed. Liaise with external authors and handle internal review process.

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience with pharmaceutical compliance regulations, including but not limited to PhRMA guidelines, for application to Med Info response process and other Medical affairs activities.
  • Demonstrated project management ability.
  • Publication and presentation experience.
  • Experience in medical information letter development.
  • Excellent communication, organization and writing skills.

Qualifications:

  • MD, PhD, or PharmD with 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs/Information field.
  • Women’s Health knowledge and experience preferred.
