Maintenance : 1) Repairs program equipment, furniture, and building apparatuses (doors, windows, lights, floor coverings, etc.). 2) Repairs and paints rooms and buildings, including plumbing and electrical work. 3) Maintains campus safety related equipment. 4) Assists in moving furniture and doing light carpentry as needed.
Vehicles : 1) Drives agency vehicles for purposes of picking up or delivering items as needed or conveying vehicle to a repair shop. 2) Monitors vehicle maintenance as needed.
Documentation : 1) Records and reports repair or replacement needs for equipment and orders of supplies.
Compliance: 1) Maintains excellent professional boundaries and adheres to all professional ethical standards including abuse reporting, and maintenance of participant confidentiality. 2) Adheres to all agency and program policies including Boundary Code of Ethics, Core Competencies, Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and state and federal regulations.
Professional Development : 1) Attends and participates in all required agency mandated staff meetings and trainings. 2) Participates in individual and group supervision. 3) Attends additional trainings as assigned, which may include professional development activities approved by supervisor.
Other Duties : 1) Participates, on a rotating basis, providing on-call services for the Maintenance Department. 2) Other related maintenance duties commensurate[LW1] with the skills of the employee may be assigned
High School Diploma 2. Clean driving record; current CA Driver’s License required, or ability to obtain within 10 days after hired. 3. Ability to drive vans and light trucks safely. 4. Three (3) or more years’ general maintenance experience in building/equipment maintenance and repairs. 5. Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of shop equipment and tools. 6. Demonstrated knowledge of building materials and their use. 7. Superior customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. 8. Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
