We are searching for a Logistics Technician I – someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll execute move logistics processes, including move planning. In doing this, you will ensure successful outcomes of operational move requests.

  • Collaborates with internal move team on appropriate activities
  • Coordinates onsite activities
  • Performs installation/move activities
  • Transports furniture and materials
  • Provides warehouse management support
  • Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting professional attitude, honesty, and integrity


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of experience in construction, carpentry and/or moving furniture/equipment
  • Must obtain a valid Texas drivers’ license within 90 days of entering the role and have a current safe and clear driving record as defined in the TCH Fleet Safety Policy
  • Modular furniture installation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of installing/moving Steelcase, Haworth and/or similar modular furniture systems
  • Ability to read and understand CAD plans
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Ability to manage installer skills including knowledge of basic tools, moving equipment, and packaging/padding to prevent equipment damage is required
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Qualified to operate non-CDL straight trucks
  • Good driving record
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
