Instructor/MCC School of Nursing – Raritan Bay Medical Center – Perth Amboy, NJ

Maintains accountability for teaching, directing and evaluating the behavior of nursing students in theory and clinical practice by planning and developing course content and related experiences in a specific department of nursing education.

Special Patient-Related Qualifications

: In addition to being current in their areas of teaching expertise, encompassing infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric nursing care, instructors in the school of nursing, as employees of Raritan Bay Medical Center, are required to maintain competency in the skills and range of treatment appropriate to the ages of those patients.

Job Qualifications:

: Graduation from an accredited basic nursing program. Master’s degree in Nursing required with academic and clinical preparation and proficiency in the area of specialty.


: At least three (3) years of clinical nursing in the area of specialty with a minimum of one (1) additional year of teaching experience.


: Students, faculty and staff, nursing services and other hospital personnel, administration, physicians, resource persons, community agencies, faculties of affiliating agencies, patients, their families and clergy.
