As a key member of our Inside Sales Team, you will be responsible for partnering with field sales consultants to further enhance reach within our territories by supporting and maintaining relationships with current customers and prospecting for new opportunities.

As a Harte Hanks Inside Sales Representative, you will work within our contact center making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls of which you will be educating Healthcare Professionals on products and services to drive recommendations of our client’s products. You will be assigned to a team within the client’s organization that you will support. As part of that team, you will be asked to work with several Field Sales Representatives to assist in communication and building relationships.
The ultimate goal for this representative is to be hired on as a Field Sales Consultant within our client’s organization at a location of their choosing, upon completion of the one-year training program. Additionally, travel for training, sales meetings, and other activities is required.

  • Thorough understanding of products, their benefits and features
  • Informs and educates HCP regarding products and services to drive recommendations of client’s products
  • Represents the company in professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Participates in ongoing sales training to enhance skills and keep abreast of changes (Travel may be required)
  • Handle inbound calls in an efficient manner while utilizing listening and comprehension skills and proper grammar
  • Provide optimal caller experience by effectively utilizing all resources to ensure single call resolution
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Requires knowledge of sales techniques
  • Type 35 wpm without errors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional grammar and ability to read and write in English
  • Multi-tasking (typing while navigating different interfaces and talking)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings
  • TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
  • One year or more Call Center or Sales experience
  • Prior pharmaceutical sales experience
