Human Resources Generalist job – Center for Diagnostic Imaging – Saint Louis Park, MN

We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Corporate Office in St. Louis Park, MN. In this role you will partner with and support operations in assigned markets in the areas of employee relations, training, recruiting and compensation. You’ll work closely with the HR team to develop and implement processes, policies and procedures that support the vision and values of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing The Experience

(40%) Employee Relations

Provides support and consulting in assigned markets in all human resources functions

Performs employee relations activities to promote increased communication, conflict resolution, and associate recognition programs

Counsels associates, supervisors and managers to settle work-related conflicts through advice and recommendation

(30%) Recruitment, Hiring, Compensation

Conducts recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt staff

Consults with Compensation Manager to provide compensation recommendations to ensure compliance and equity within the organization

Develops, writes, and updates job descriptions from direct observation and/or interviews with the position incumbent and discussions with supervisors

Assists in the development of additional compensation programs for bonus, scholarships, etc. to help organization attract top talent

Updates the HRIS system accurately and on a timely basis with changes in personnel and compensation levels

(15%) HR Department Support

Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the HR department and performed services

Participates on HR Strategic goal projects

Using the HRIS system and other information resources, generates a variety of department reports in order to compile related statistics and to provide useful information to the organization

Ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations

Keeps abreast of current trends and developments in human resources by establishing professional affiliations and participating in professional activities to include seminars, conferences, and reading appropriate books and journals

(10%) Training

Assists with preparing, administering, and facilitating various training programs to include hiring and selection, performance management, supervisor and leadership skills, and HR legal updates

Researches and recommends external associate training, when applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
