Contract position. Seeking hands-on resources who have worked on Windows 7 platform and have experience in Laptop configuration and address issues. Will work on the floor at our customer locations in Hicksville, NY. May be required to travel to Syracuse, Waltham, Ma.

Duties:

  • Coordinating with various stakeholders (Infrastructure Provider and other suppliers if any and the End users)
  • Involve in the floor walk to guide the users on their issue to problem resolution
  • Involve in the QA of the laptops issued from the build center as per the checklist before it is issued to the end users.
  • Support the end users to resolve the initial hiccups they face in using the new laptops with the OS build.
  • Produce the report of the requests handled by them on a daily / weekly basis.
  • Understand the users problem and play it back with the hardware supplier in case of any major issue.
