Responsible to conduct a comprehensive, high quality collegiate athletic program within the guidelines of all rules and policies established by the athletic department, the institution, the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference, Region XX, and the NJCAA and in accordance with the academic standards, stated mission and goals of Cecil College and the Department of Athletics. Coordinate practices, attend all home and away games. Recruitment and retention of student athletes. Other related duties as assigned.

Cecil College is located in Maryland’s most northeastern county near the town of North East on Maryland Route 272, one-half mile north of I-95 (Exit 100) & 2.5 miles north of U.S. Route 40. The college is six miles south of the Pennsylvania line & 30 miles from Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, it is midway between Baltimore & Philadelphia – approximately 50 miles from each.

Bachelor’s degree required. Successful coaching experience in the sport of soccer at the post-secondary or collegiate level preferred. Evidence of a commitment to academic and athletic excellence, cultural diversity, and racial equity in sports. Good communication, verbal and written skills. Valid driver’s license required with a clear driving record. Commitment to athletic integrity in all aspects, compliance with all institutional, regional and national requirements. Knowledge of NJCAA rules, and computer skills. Contracts are renewable on an annual basis.
