Under the direction of the Agricultural Technical Institute ( ATI ) Director with a dotted line to the Senior Fiscal Officer, this position oversees annual budget planning, implementation, and administration for assigned units; provides guidance, expertise, and instruction to department faculty and staff on preparation of annual budgets; identifies concerns and constraints with budgetary projections; conducts in-depth financial analysis of complex fiscal reports; manages multiple sources of funding which may include sponsored research and federal restricted funds, grants, and contracts; reviews, evaluates and authorizes fiscal transactions, journal entries, and procurement requests; collaborates with college Financial Leadership for overall budget and fiscal matters; supervises unit finance staff.

Bachelor’s degree in business admin-finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience; considerable business experience in an administrative capacity and knowledge of fund accounting; experience developing and working with financial reports; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong customer service orientation; supervisory experience.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree; knowledge of OSU fiscal/procurement/travel policies and procedures.
