Under general supervision and in accordance with established company policies and procedures, the Field Technician is responsible for the assembly, maintenance and teardown of equipment and furniture at various locations for Jackson Hewitt to ensure offices meet appropriate brand standards.
Provides equipment service at Jackson Hewitt locations to assemble, repair or teardown furniture or kiosk components.
Loads and unloads furniture, equipment, tools and materials from vehicle to various locations.
Assembles furniture, kiosk kits, etc. according to plan using hand tools.
Examines furniture, equipment, tools and materials to verify conformance to quality standards.
Adheres to appropriate safety protocols and practices safe lifting techniques.
Adheres to retailer policies for installation, if applicable.
Reports quality or other technical problems through proper escalation channels.
Meets deadlines for tear-down locations by ensuring all furniture and equipment have been properly stored for off-season.
Assists with clean-up of office locations after set-up or tear-down.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in assembly or minor furniture repairs.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain appropriate vehicle insurance.
