Extract And Recover Deleted iPhone Data From iTunes Backup

After your iTunes syncs with the iPhone, it keeps a separate backup files which contains all your data, photos, contacts, calendar, sms messages, recordings, videos, voicemails, notes, and call history. These files are not readable and if you want to recover the data in readable format, you will need a tool like iPhone Backup Extractor.

It is not necessary to have an iPhone connected to your PC when using this tool because it simply finds the iTunes backup of your previously synced iPhone and extracts it in one click. Very useful if you have lost your iPhone device but need to recover the data.

Before you extract data from any backup, it lists the number of backups that were found in default folder, which is:

C:Users{Username}AppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSyncBackup

It will also list down the most important details of your iPhone, which is, device model, serial, firmware, time when backup was saved, IMEI, and Status.

Note: You must register and buy the tool for $24.95 before you can extract all data in one go. Otherwise the free version is limited to extraction of two records only.

We couldn’t find any free alternative to this tool that comes without any restrictions for Windows, but we were able to find a similar but less user-friendly tool for Mac which is free called iPhone / iPod Touch Backup Extractor.
