The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for planning and executing activities to grow sales in the assigned market(s). This includes analysis of marketing information and leads, exploration of prospects, calls on existing and potential customers, planning customer visits and presentations and coordinating MetalTek resources in support of those sales efforts. This position also serves as liaison between the customer and internal MetalTek resources, balancing the customer’s interests with those of the Company to achieve profitable sales growth while maintaining positive customer relationships.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter with documented success selling to key customers and contacts with the market. 3-5 years of experience in the sale of engineered metal solutions and cast products to the industrial market and related industries. This person should have a proven track record of generating new business and new customers, building strong relationships and have the ability to communicate knowledgeably with customers and MetalTek staff on technical issues based on a technical degree and/or relevant experience. Professional appearance, as well as excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
