Account Manager will oversee Health and Life book of business and manage it from marketing and renewal to open enrollment and maintenance. The Account Manager will ensure client satisfaction by establishing realistic client expectations, seeking client input and meeting service commitments in a professional and punctual manner.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the employee benefits environment
  • Strong working knowledge of employee benefit plans;
  • Experience in benefit plan marketing and analysis;
  • General understanding of insurance contracts
  • Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Experience working in an agency management system
  • General office management skills
  • Professional attitude and outlook; ability and desire to be a team player
  • Punctuality and reliability

Licensing and Education:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required
  • Life and Health insurance license is required
  • Attendance at legislative reviews and industry meetings is encouraged
