Data Analyst – Federal Resources Supply Company – Stevensville, MD

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Data Analyst on our Operations team. This analytical, detail oriented individual is responsible for the continued data maintenance derived from specific projects. The tasking can often change based on the priority of the project as well as the scale of the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify, record and upload all contract award information.

Prepare monthly reports on “No Bid” status of bids.

Prepare monthly reports on “Negotiated” bids.

Update the applicable trackers used to capture pertinent information.

Update and maintain the applicable Access databases.

Process awards.

Create Sales Orders.

Assist Vendor Relations, Vertical Sales and Outside Sales with bid analysis reports.

Responsible for the maintenance and updates of the Vendor Point of Contact Database.

Follow up on all shipping/vendor/pricing discrepancies and issues that arise.

Provide “Ship To” addresses and update database accordingly.

Notify the appropriate personnel of any IT issues that the databases encompass.

Provide Proof of Delivery information as needed.

Maintain State registration database.

Provide support to Inside Sales, in the absence of the Contract Administrators.

Provide support as needed within the Sourcing Dept.

Work with the IT Dept. to integrate multiple databases.

Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Perform other work related duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university preferred

Minimum of two years related experience

Government contract experience preferred.
