A.Remove tree limbs surrounding electrical power lines by climbing with the aid of a ladder, safety belts, climbing line or powered trimmer lift truck.
B.Work on the ground using gasoline and hand powered saws, pruners, etc. Cut branched or trunk sections and drop or lower them to the ground with hand lines.
C.Cut underbrush, fell trees and cut logs into manageable pieces with use of axes, wedges, sledges and chain saws.
D.Complete a trim lift inspection report each day prior to operating lift boom.
E.Service gasoline, air and hand power tools as necessary.
F.Relays hand signals, direct traffic, drives and operates trucks and equipment as assigned. Keeps trucks and work areas clean of debris.
G.Assist crew foreman with training new employees.
H.Spray stumps and brush with hand spraying equipment.
I.Drag or pull brush (tree limbs) to chipper and insert into chipper for removal.
J.Participate in tailgate safety sessions provided by crew foreman.
K.Understand and abide by all rules and regulations contained in Company Policy Manual.
L.Ensure that all crew members are operators in a safe and effective manner.
M.Liaison between crew members, utility customers and utility management.
N.Responsible to repair or have repaired any property damage caused by crew negligence or by accident.
O.Complete weekly reports Timesheet, gas report, equipment pre-trip check sheet, absence record and employee warnings.
P.Review tailgate safety sessions with all assigned crew members.
Q.Performs other related work as assigned by supervisors.
