Commercial Sales Manager job – Protection One Alarm Monitoring, Inc. – Edison, NJ

SUMMARY
:

Responsible for meeting and exceeding branch sales budgets for both reoccurring and installation security services.
Commercial Sales Managers are expected to actively recruit, hire and onboard Commercial Security Consultants.
These sales leaders are accountable for their team’s sales results and development of their team.
The Commercial Sales Manager focuses their team’s activity on a blend of both new and existing
core and up-market opportunities.
More often, these customers desire integrated security

solutions.
Managerial oversight with funnel management, project design and territory planning is
expected.
In markets where there is not a 1View Sales Manager, the Commercial Sales
Manager will assert responsibilities for BOTH the core and transactional business.
This channel
requires focus on new customer opportunities with packaged security solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. To perform this job successfully, the
Commercial Sales Manager
may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed.

Responsible for achieving all budgeted commercial sales production targets for the branch.

£
Recruit, onboard, develop and manage a team of 10 Commercial Security Consultants (and 1View Sales Representatives if in market without dedicated 1View Sales Manager.)

£
Organize sales territories, set productivity targets and manage team sales activities.

£
Assist team in leveraging new and existing core commercial verticals, close business and assist customers.

£
Must ensure all sales are sold and installed within the company financial and quality expectations.

£
Coach sales team on delivering profitable jobs in concert with operational leadership.

£
When managing 1View Representatives, daily oversight and production is expected.

£
Model, manage and maintain professional sales environment.

£
Comply with Protection1’s vehicle policy.

£
Other duties may be assigned.

£
Travel may be expected.

Knowledge and extensive understanding of company policy/procedures required to successfully perform the Sales Manager’s role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

£
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
and
two to three years of sales management
and
four to five years of sales experience.

College degree preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

£
Must be able to qualify for any state or local licenses that are required.

£
Must have valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they reside and proper automobile registration.

£
Proof of insurance for personal automobile liability with limits no lower than the financial responsibility limits required by the state where the employee resides.
Failure to maintain this insurance will result in corrective actions being taken, up to and including termination.
