2 years dermatology experience required. Must have a min. of 3 years managerial experience

  • Must be licensed in NY as an LPN/RN and possess current BLS certification.
  • Must have experience in personnel management and team building.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of surgical and aseptic technique.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess the physical ability and sensory (e.g. visual, hearing) acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect care functions.
  • May be expected to lift 25 pounds without assistance. Is required to obtain assistance when moving patients unable to assist in move, unless patient is in a wheelchair or on a gurney.
  • Be mature, pleasant adult possessing good communication skills.
  • Active Nursing License in the state of NY
  • Current CPR and BLS certification


  • Manages all clinical services in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Develops and implements policy as needed to accommodate changing activities.
  • Assists in the development of monthly financial plans, including appropriate staffing patterns and inventory acquisition/control.
  • Manages nursing care staffing assignments essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and enhancement of patient’s wellness and cosmetic satisfaction.
  • Responsible for clinical personnel, including maintaining applicant files; interviewing applicants for vacancies, orienting and training new nursing service employees; conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling sessions, recommending emit wage increases; and coordinating transfer, promotion and/or termination of clinical personnel.
  • Resolves internal coordination problems and analyzes various operating reports available from several sources (physician perception, electronic reports, business office).
  • Assures that patient care needs are appropriately met and resolves patient care crisis problems.
  • Reviews, coordinates and monitors work schedules, hours and duty assignments, and patient schedules.
  • Provides verification of clinical personnel work hours for payroll.
  • Schedules appropriate in-service programs for clinical personnel.
  • Performs nursing procedures requiring a registered nurse, as necessary.
  • Determines needs of supplies and equipment. In consultation with Medical Director, conducts evaluation of new products and equipment and recommends purchases.
  • Possesses a thorough working knowledge of all levels of aseptic technique and its application and utilizes same to reduce occurrence of environmental infection by directing attention to infection control measures and environmental safety practices.
  • Is thoroughly familiar with the operation of all equipment.
  • Is responsible for the acquisition, storage, and maintenance of controlled substances consistent policy.
  • Prepares reports of activities within purview of responsibility.
