The Business Functional Manager will provide strategic direction for Community Banking business and risk teams related to key and critical governance programs such as Committee Governance, Policy Program Office and Implementation, Change Management Office, Implementation Risk, Strategic Risk and Reputation Risk. The manager will be responsible for the development, execution, monitoring and maintenance for the key and critical governance programs setting the risk framework within which the business operates, manages risk and makes decisions.

Responsibilities Include:
Provide oversight and credible challenge to the line of business and risk domains regarding key and critical governance programs

Maintain and manage Product and Services Risk Management for Community Banking including products to be distributed across Regional Banking and Small Business.

Ensure products and services across all lines of business within Wells Fargo are approved prior to distribution within the Regional Banking Branches.

Ensure risk assessments are completed and appropriately identify risks associated with the product and the distribution products.

Ensure product as well as branch readiness for product introduction.

Lead teams consisting of product representatives across Wells Fargo LOBs and risk team members in completing risk assessments and preparing documentation for the presentation to the Community Banking Product and Services Risk Committee for approval.

Maintain and review product inventory

Develop, maintain and manage Committee Governance for Community Banking Committees as well as approximately 20 different business committees.

Develop, maintain and manage the Change Management Office for Community Banking Risk Management

Develop, maintain and manage Reputational and Strategic Risk oversight for Community Banking, which includes the establishment of programs for Community Banking including establishing metrics, monitoring processes, and report outs/issue escalation that will be presented to the Community Banking Risk Management Committee and Community Banking Compliance and Operational Risk Committee.

Regularly provide updates to programs and risks associated with programs to the Community Banking Operating Committee and Risk Functional Areas within Community Banking Risk Management and to the Community Banking Risk Management Committee.

Provide routine and escalated reports to the Community Banking Risk Management Committee and Community Banking Compliance and Operational Risk Committee regarding the span of all CB Governance programs to ensure the CB Operating Committee and CBRM senior leaders understand the risks and the management plans around these risks.

This leader will also provide recommendations of issue escalation to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and work with the Community Banking Group Risk Officer to make those determinations.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: business process, quality assurance, strategic planning, or project management

6+ years of management experience

6+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience Desired Qualifications
